A couple projects...

I've been trying to get some of my digital scrapbooking done before Father's Day.
I use Heritage Makers and absolutely LOVE their products.
I published a few things this week...

Post card for my dad...
This is a book I made for Gord.
All the images are 5x7 postcards that I've glued into a book for him.
Front...
Just a few reasons why we love him so much.
He's always making us laugh...
Loves to have fun...
Can build anything...
Loves to be outside...
Quite the handyman...
This is No Joke!
Love this...
I'm so lucky to have Gord as my husband and
Tydon sure does love his Daddy!
Last I finally finished our scrapbook from Florida last year.

Wednesday

Friends and Family...

What would we do without Great Friends and Family?!

Last Friday we surprised one of our friends and took her to Good Things Utah
(One of Utah's morning shows with lots of giveaways and fun ideas)

Thursday we took Tydon to see Up 3D. We went with Gord's sister RaNae and a few of her kids. So glad we have family close by to hang out with.
Tydon loved the BIG movie, but wouldn't wear the glasses during the show. He didn't like things coming at him. The dogs scared him a bit too...
Cute show!

Thursday

Time for play...

Now that we are finally getting settled we've had some time to get out of the house.
Friday Tydon and I met up with some of our friends from West Jordan. Tydon was so excited!
We went to Thanksgiving Point to see the animals.
He loves the pony rides!
Cute lil cow
Milking the cow
It started pouring rain on us so we came back to our house for lunch.
It was fun and refreshing to see our friends again.

Friday was NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY so I made Gord take Tydon and I to Krispy Kreme for some FREE doughnuts.
Saturday Gord had a company party so we went back to Thanksgiving Point for some food and fun. Tydon loved the cow train...
And of course we had to visit the animals again...
Loved the baby horse!
We missed him on Friday.
The weather was much better so we were able to stay a little bit longer.
He's getting so big!
We went to our new ward on Sunday. Our house is the boundary for a split they just recently had so our neighbors we met are in the other ward. We are excited to get to know some new friends and get involved in a new community.

Tydon has started something new the last few weeks... and guess who taught him?!

I had to laugh when he said it was Jesus. Gord thinks it's a gift ;)
He will bust out his air guitar randomly and has recently started to use his bat as a prop. He even found himself a platform at our new house.
Last night we picked up our friends the Hill's from the airport and went to dinner with them.
They came last Thursday night and stayed and I took them to the airport Friday morning. They spent several days in California and we kept their car while they were gone.
Heidi is going to have a baby in November!! We are so excited for them.
Gord has been super busy at work and a little stressed so it was fun to spend some time with him. I'm grateful for a hardworking husband!! Love you Gord :)

Monday

Back to Miscellaneous Monday...

I haven't posted any miscellaneous stuff lately...
We are still unpacking boxes - I should be working on some more right now, but I'm looking for a distraction instead ;)
I really need to get to it though so Gord thinks I did something today...
Thank goodness for wireless internet! I feel bad stealing someone's connection, but glad that I'm able to keep in touch with everyone until we decide to get our own.

Here are a few more fun ideas I might like to try eventually...

If I ever get my sewing machine out again, this would be nice.
Sewing Machine Cover
This would really be nice...
Or what about this???
Kind of a Fun Idea...
So cute!
Someday I'll have an ipod, until then... I need one of these for my camera!
This could be nice...
Pretty cute for the kiddos.
I love these!~
If any of you get ambitious and try one of these... let me know!
One of these days I hope to post my own results.

Saturday we packed and loaded
When we were packing in Poky Tydon loved climbing in the bags and getting zipped up.
I forgot I had these pictures

Later Friday night while we were finishing up for the night the ice cream man came through the neighborhood.
Tydon was sharing with his friend Mason.
Yum!
Saturday after we got done loading the trailer we had a little celebration. Ha Ha
The carpets were cleaned at our new place Monday so we couldn't finish moving in until Tuesday. We are happy to finally be settled.
I'll post some pics of the new place next week.

My new neighbor invited us to Play Group Wednesday morning...

So far we love the new neighborhood and are excited to get to know our neighbors.
Thank you so much to all the friends and family that pitched in to help us get settled.
We owe ya!!
