Well... I am making some progess so that is good.
Last night I started to have some pretty good contractions around 7:30pm. They were about 5 minutes apart and lasted for at least an hour. I started moving around cleaning and doing a few things to see if they were going to stick around, but of course they let up.
Sleeping was quite the challenge though. I woke up 2-3 times every hour because I was contracting so much. I finally just got up at 6am with Gord because it was useless. We did get to enjoy some yummy french toast with buttermilk syrup together ;)
I laid down after he left and slept until Tydon woke up at 8am and then it was time to fix him some breakfast and get ready to go to the gym. I love the Pump Mix class on Thursdays... After the library we came home, showered, ate lunch and it was off to the Dr. (Thanks Jamie for watching Tydon this week)
I am dilated to a 2, but still have some effacing to do, but he said that doesn't really matter.
He gave me permission to have the baby anytime, but of course it'll take more than that.
We scheduled another appointment for next Thursday and if he doesn't come before then he said he would be happy to induce me on Friday (my due date).
So... either he comes on his own or we'll get to meet the little guy next Friday :)

So exciting! I can't wait for the little guy to get here. We love babies. Good luck with the last week. Just relax!!
You write about it all so calmly. I'm pretty sure just the word contraction is enough to freak me out. I hope everything goes well!

Yeah that is so awesome!! Glad you don't have to think about going a week late anymore:) I am so excited to meet this little guy! YOu know you better keep me posted!! Love you and good luck getting any sleep!!!!!!!!! AAHHH can you believe the time has come???!!
