Idaho...

Before we left we celebrated this little guy's birthday

He took his friends and family on a little tractor ride...

On the way to Idaho we saw this...

Gord and I couldn't stop laughing.

{It took us about 20 min of riding the poor biker to finally get a good picture, but it was worth it}

The night before we left we got a phone call from my cousin telling us that Ashtyn had fallen off her horse and BROKEN HER FEMUR!!

She's real tough though and hasn't cried yet :)

I can't believe my brother is a Senior... makes me feel old

Football season is in full swing and he's playin great!

And of course we couldn't come home without stopping at the Blackfoot Fair

Tydon was so excited to ride the rides.

He did chores last week to earn his tickets.

Tydon is all about posing for pictures these days...

Every bite of food he takes lately makes his "muscles move"

 But the best part of the fair is seeing your friends :)

It's always fun to go home and see the fam!

Way Overdue...

I've been a blog slacker lately, I'll be the first to admit.

So here's a quick update of what's been going on...

Gord turned 30!!!

 

 Happy Birthday to my BEST FRIEND!!

I got to spend Mother's Day with some of my dad's family

{That's his oldest sister Kathy in the middle}

So fun to see these girls!

After we named Henson my grandma told me it was a family name.

Kathy pulled out the book to show us.

My mom and grandma came to town for a couple days and stayed at a hotel in Salt Lake so we met them for swimming, shopping and yummy food!

While they were here, Tydon had a gymnastics recital

He was so excited about his balloon he slept with hit ;)

Our landlord invited us over for a Brazilian dinner.

It was fun learning how to make something new and the girls were so much fun!

I got to meet up with my friends from West Jordan for a baby shower for one of our friends!

Love you girls...

Two of my other friends had babies too so they sent me pictures of their diaper bags so I could make some matching wipe cases

Memorial Weekend was much needed... We spent time with our families in ID

We went on a little razor ride with Gord's fam

Henson was such a good boy. 

It rained {of course} but we found a spot where we could make a fire and be protected by the trees.

Tydon can't get enough of the motorcycles.

My dad was happy to take him for a ride when we got there

Before we headed home we HAD to stop and see some friends.

So fun to meet baby London and catch up!

Gordon has been on a pretty big project at work. They built 2 overpasses on the side of the freeway and then moved them into place... crazy I know. So I let Tydon stay up late and we went over and watched.

This is the 4th part they moved into place. Pretty amazing!

Can't wait to squeeze him!

Another week...

I'm pretty sure the days go fast now that I'm outnumbered!

Which leads to making the weeks go by faster too...

Last Sunday we got together with Gord's family in UT to celebrate the October birthdays.
Tydon was so excited all day to blow out the candles and eat cake.
There are mornings that I'm just not quite ready to get out of bed and so Tydon usually gets into something he shouldn't while I'm being lazy. One morning he decided to take some pictures...
I'm sure most of you can relate to a little of this...
No I'm not ready for winter!!

Henson got to go and meet one of his new girlfriends ;)
Cute lil Kenzie was born 2 weeks after him.
Tydon has been such a good helper and LOVES his little brother.
He was loving it when Gord wrapped him up like baby brother.
We survived Gord having the flu... Tydon fighting a cough and I even experienced the 24 hr flu...
Hoping we've experienced all we are going to this year.

I think we are starting to adjust to having a new addition in the house.

Our neighbors and friends have been so awesome stopping by with gifts and bringing meals to us.
One neighbor brought over dinner and a little outfit for Henson and when I asked Tydon to go get dressed one day he came up with this...

Tydon loved it! I'm so glad they offer something like this for the kids.

Gord is such a great dad. We have been having some great Fall weather so he has been taking advantage of it with Tydon. They usually go out back to play football after dinner.

We are seeing a little bit more of this these days...
Henson is such a good baby. He still sleeps lots during the day so when he is awake we love every minute of it!

Yesterday Gord stayed home with the Flu :(
He was really paranoid about getting us sick so after he left today I spent the morning washing sheets and sanitizing the house.
Then we had to get out the train...

This is planned for the afternoon...
