What a week...

Last week was the Lehi Round-Up so there were several fun activities throughout the week.
We started Monday off at "Lehi's Got Talent" in the park. We ate Fried Chicken (yum!) and watched the finalists compete.Tuesday I had my Glucose Test (glad to get that over with) and my 25 Week appointment! I can't believe how fast time goes. We really need to start getting things ready for this little guy. We haven't come up with a name we love yet and the nursery is still pretty empty...
Wednesday morning we went to Play Group. The weather was so nice last week! The kids ran through the sprinklers and played in the kiddie pool. Tydon was loving it!!
Then we went home ate some lunch and got our swim suits on for some more water fun. We went to the outdoor pool with Corbin, Cambry and Brinley (Gord's nieces and nephew) Tydon LOVES his cousins and I appreciate their help :)
Thursday morning I took Tydon to Storytime at the Lehi Library. I was so impressed with the lady! He loved all the fun books and songs they sang... there are so many fun activities for kids here, Tydon loves it. After the library we went home and changed into our swim suits again for more water fun at the Legacy Center. They have a SUPER fun indoor/outdoor pool, the best I've seen for little kids. Tydon's friends Tylee and Porter came to swim. So fun!
After a fun day of swimming we headed home to pack for a quick trip to Idaho. My cute cousin Oakley got married Friday morning in the Rexburg, ID temple.

Later that afternoon it POURED rain! Tydon said, "mom look a waterfall." It was running off the house pretty steady for a while.
Saturday we got to spend a few hours with "Great" and then we were back on the road home to see daddy. Gord has been super busy with work lately so he wasn't able to go home with us. We got home early enough to go to the Lehi Rodeo.
We got lucky with close parking and great seats! Gord flipped burgers the night before so we got in for FREE... always love that :) It was a pretty good rodeo.

At the end they let the rest of the horses and bulls out to run the arena... one of my favorite parts.
Last night we went to my dad's brother's for dinner and games. I finally got to meet up with one of my cousins that I hadn't seen for years!! Him and his cute fiance are getting married in July.
What a week! Now it's time to play catch up and get ready for another long weekend! Yay!!

Loving the warm weather...

On Monday they were having FREE golfing at the Midway golf course.
I had a doctor's appt scheduled that day, but rescheduled for later in the week so I could surprise Gord.
Tydon and I picked him up from work and told him plans had changed and we were going for a little drive instead. He was like a little kid when I told him we were going golfing. The weather was perfect and he LOVES to golf.
It was a fun surprise!!
My favorite part was Cafe Rio for dinner... yum! We had a gift card from some friends, so I'd been waiting for a special occasion to enjoy it. Thanks Bailey's

A couple weeks ago a bunch of us took our kids to Discovery Gateway.
The kids could spend all day there... It's at least a 3 hour visit when we go.
We even made it into their motion class which was fun for the kids.

Thanksgiving Point is having their Annual Tulip Festival right now so we decided to go see what all the excitement was about. The kids loved the big hill to play on. The flowers were beautiful. They had over 250,000!! I had never been to anything like it, so it was fun to see. The weather was so nice! We were glad we went before lunch because it finally reached 80 in Utah!!

There has been so many fun things to do here.
Living somewhere new makes everything seem like a new adventure. The warm weather didn't stay, but we were excited to enjoy a few days of sunshine this week.
Tydon and I even got our first sunburns of the year! It's fun to see a line for once:) We are excited that it's Friday and we get to enjoy the weekend with dad.

Yesterday I finally sent off a changing pad order that I've been working on

for a while. It's for a John Deere lover and I hope she loves it as much as I do.

After we went to the post office Tydon was excited about the sunshine and wanted to play outside. When I talked to my mom in Idaho and she said she was sitting in her car in the middle of a snow storm!! So I knew I had to take advantage... I couldn't get Tydon to come inside to eat so I took lunch to him.

Between bites he was running back and forth.

After lunch we went for a walk to soak up as much sun as we could!
February usually doesn't provide us with such warm weather...
maybe being in Utah isn't so bad :)

It's SNOWING!!

Well... it is official! We got our first snow TODAY!! yuck

I was driving home from Idaho Falls to Mud Lake and it happened...

It didn't take long before it started to stick-




























I'm really NOT ready for this!! I don't like the cold.

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!!!

The past couple of weeks have been pretty wet! Tydon has been really patient everyday hanging out with mom. He loves being outside and wants so badly to go and get dirty, but the rain hasn't let up. When he wakes up he likes to look out the window to see if he is going to get to go outside. The rain is good, but I'd rather it come at night and be sunny during the day... Anyone else agree?

The Park

The weather is finally warming up nicely so I decided to take Tydon to the park. We have a nice park just a few blocks from our house so we try to take a walk when the weather is nice. This day it was still a little chilly so he wore his hat (this kid LOVES hats). His favorite part is the swings. He says "weeee" as he swings back and forth.

Easter Weekend

The week started out with coloring eggs and getting prepped for the Wood Family egg hunt. We colored eggs for family home evening, Tydon loved all the bright colors!


We planned to drive to Mud Lake on Friday, but March Madness seemed more important so we partied with some friends and made homemade pizza and watched a couple games. Tydon learned to say "Pizza" which made Gordon and I proud.

Saturday morning we gathered everything up and drove to Mud Lake. The day started out playing with cousins and preparing an Easter feast. Grandma Wood gave all the kids bubble blowers so they went out in the sun room and went crazy! Tydon and Berkli were showered with bubbles as the older kids pulled the trigger.



The snow was still a little deep for the Easter Bunny to hide the eggs in his usual places so we found eggs indoors this year.






The day ended with Tydon watching TV with Grandpa Wood so mom and dad could go bunny hunting!!! It was a blast-I was pretty confident I was going to wake up with a bruise on my should from the shotgun though!

After church on Sunday we made the quick trip to Grandpa and Grandma Eaton's for another Easter feast. We opened our baskets from Grandma and Tydon and I surprised Gordon with a new push cart for the golf season. Happy Easter everyone!!!
