Miscellaneous Monday...

I've decided to start a weekly blog called
Miscellaneous Monday
...
You've probably heard of a few others... "Thankful Thursday" or "Flash Back Friday." My goal is to gather useful tips and other things to share on Mondays. Please let me know if you have any topics you'd like info about or a helpful tip we all could enjoy.

Would your child be able to survive if he/she fell into the water?
This video clip is amazing!!
I would love to put Tydon in one of these classes so he would know what to do if he fell in the water.
You can watch HERE.

Printer Ink...
Out of Ink cartridge can still work...There is a reset button -
Tiny hole above circuit board -
That gives a more accurate reading... May be half full yet.

I tried this on my Brother cartridge and didn't find a reset button, but if you have a printer cartridge that you have to pull off the protective tape to uncover the circuit board (goldish shiny part) you may be in luck. There is a tiny button at the top that you can reset for a more accurate ink level reading. The video showed an Epson cartridge so they should work.

Computer Shortcuts...
Most of us know how to copy and paste, but here are a few more.

1. (Ctrl+T) - fast way to pull up a new tab on your browser.
2. (Ctrl+F) - find a specific word on a page fast.
3. (Ctrl+C) - copies highlighted text on a page.
4. (Ctrl+V)- pastes the copied text wherever your cursor is.
5. (Ctrl+X) - deletes selected items.

they just make the best of what they’ve got!”

Happy Monday!!

Do you drink enough water??

The following will probably amaze and startle you.

One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University study.

Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.

Drinking 32 ounces of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
I know I'm not!!

Don't PAY when you call INFORMATION anymore...

Thanks Grandma for more tips :)

Sunday

Did you know?!?

I had to go into the kitchen and check this out for myself. I got this e-mail from my grandma and thought everyone could benefit.
Whoever looks at the end of your aluminum foil box? You know when you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time!!

Hope you all can benefit from this one!
