Fabulous Birthday and Great Deals

Thanks to all the great friends and family that remembered my birthday.

I had lots of phone calls, texts, facebook messages and cards.
I really felt special this year!
Gord took Tydon and I to Olive Garden for Lunch (I've been craving their salad dressing and breadsticks) and then
I met him at Texas Roadhouse for dinner! I've never eaten so good in one day (LOVED not cooking for a day :)

When I got home Gord was waiting with my gifts...
Yes he wrapped them all himself!

I'm super excited because they fit over my growing belly too :)
We have been swimming LOTS this Summer so I'm excited to have a couple more options.

Father's Day and FINALLY warm weather!!

Yesterday was a fun relaxing day.

The day before we spent the day running errands and finally
picked out some flowers to plant (Mother's Day present).
Gord was so good to help me get them planted, even though it was suppose to be his day.

Today we ventured to Wheeler Farm

The weather was perfect and the kids had a blast!

After we looked at the animals we had a picnic on the grass...

Tydon loved seeing his friends from West Jordan and can't wait to see them again.
This week is the Lehi Round-Up so we are excited to keep busy with lots of fun activities.
Gord will be flipping burgers Friday night at the concessions if anyone plans to attend the Rodeo :)

The past week...

I can't believe how fast time flies when you are crazy busy...

Last week was full of packing, goodbyes and BBQs.

Wednesday we had yummy BBQ Chicken at the Heightman's.

Saturday after we got done loading the trailer we had a little celebration. Ha Ha

The carpets were cleaned at our new place Monday so we couldn't finish moving in until Tuesday. We are happy to finally be settled.
I'll post some pics of the new place next week.

My new neighbor invited us to Play Group Wednesday morning...

So far we love the new neighborhood and are excited to get to know our neighbors.

Valentine's Day came early this year!!
Really... it was just timing, but I'll claim it as an exciting gift this year!!

After moving to Utah we knew it was time to get a new car. Gordon was going to be taking our Civic to work everyday and that meant I was stuck with his pick up.

Gordon loved his baby. He had a new stereo in it and XM radio... He LOVES music!!
I cried last week as we took his pick-up into the dealership to be traded on our new car. I felt bad that Gordon couldn't keep his truck. I'm sure it was hard for Gordon to say goodbye to his pick up. Every man deserves a truck!!
But Gordon doesn't need it anymore for construction so it makes sense to get a bigger car for the fam. I'm super excited about the upgrade, but will miss the Duramax.

Last weekend we got to go back home to IDAHO to visit family.

Saturday we celebrated the baptism of my cousin Ashtyn Hope.
Gordon confirmed her after her baptism. It was a special day for her and her family.
Congrats Ashtyn. We are so excited for you and happy we could be there to celebrate this special day with you. We love you!

I'm so happy we got to see my family this weekend.
I'm grateful for all of my family and their love for me and my little family.
Can't wait to see you again in a couple weeks!!
