Apology...
I know I have really slacked off lately, but a lot has happened... Real quick... my mom was bucked off of her horse (landed on her head) a few weeks ago and had to stay in the hospital for a few days. I took her to a Dr in Salt Lake last Thursday and we are headed back again next week, but she is doing really well considering. Gordon started Summer school which has us driving back and forth between Idaho Falls and Pocatello every other day so I've been here and there and everywhere! We went to Utah for a weekend and have enjoyed the sunshine! Gordon will be submitting his application to D.L. Evans Bank (applying to be a Commercial Loan Officer) this week so we should know more in a couple weeks as to where we will be after he graduates in July. Here are more details of the past few weeks....
He's getting too big!
After our wild weekend in Utah Tydon crashed hard. He didn't wake up until 10:30 Monday morning! It was nice for me, but I had to keep checking on him to make sure he was still breathing... This is what I found...
I can't believe how big he is getting- Time flies with a little one around to keep you busy.

Fun trip to Utah...
A couple weekends ago we had a busy weekend! We attended one of Gordon's mission buddies' sealing in the Idaho Falls temple on Friday. Gordon was excited to visit with his mission president and his wife.
After the luncheon we sped to Utah for his niece's reception making it there 15 minutes before it was over...
It was a cowboy reception so I made her this to display.
Saturday Gordon went golfing with his brothers and I spent the day shopping with one of my best friends Katie! She took me to IKEA (I love that place) and I bought Tydon a new towel. He was really excited to use it last night. Gordon thought he looked like a little boxer so we had him flex his muscles for us, too cute!

Won't be needing this now...
Well some of you knew that I was planning to take my nephew to Orlando for two weeks for wakeboard camp. (We should be there right now)My brother was planning to come too for waterski school. All the reservations were made, clothes bought, final purchase was the umbrella stroller...
Then.... Braxton broke his femur riding his motorbike. We are planning to reschedule the trip for after he recovers. We were all pretty bummed that it didn't work out, but we're praying for a speedy recovery and hope to do it the end of the summer, cross your fingers! Hope you heal quick Braxton-

Happy Mother's Day
This Mother's Day was a fun one. Gordon spoke in sacrament in our ward and then we traveled to Idaho Falls to spend time with my family. We had a BBQ at my Aunt's house and the kids played on the swings. I love Summer!!!
This year for Mother's Day I decided to take advantage of my crafty motivation and make my mom something for her house. She is OBSESSED with horses so I thought this would go well with everything. I enjoyed making cards for my mom, her two sisters and my grandma. Personal gifts are so much more fun!
Gordon and Tydon planted me some flowers in our yard for Mother's Day. I have wanted some for a while now so it was a great surprise! Thanks boys they look great!
Front of the house...
New flower bed Gordon added last year... looks much better with flowers :)
In the back we decide to add some tomato plants too. Fresh tomatoes are the best!

Fun project
Happy Birthday Gord!
Tydon loves shoes just like every other kid. He especially likes dad's shoes.
Gordon's birthday was on Sunday so I threw him a surprise party last Friday at the park close to our house. He went golfing with a friend and when he got home I asked him if he wanted to go to dinner. He was starving so he was excited. On the way I said we should stop at the park and let Tydon swing he has been a good boy today and has asked to play outside. He didn't think anything of it and when we got out of the car a group of about 20 people started singing Happy Birthday to him. He was really surprised and excited to hang out with friends.
Tydon was excited to play on the toys with his friends and of course declined the invitation to go home when we were done.
Church
Tydon loves going to church! Gordon is such a good husband and gives me the morning off and gets Tydon ready every Sunday. He is starting to get anxious during sacrament so I'm having to get creative these days. He gets so excited for nursery and is usually the first one there every Sunday. I started taking him at 15 months and he has been a champ from day one. He is a social butterfly and isn't afraid to say goodbye to mom and dad.
Fun treat
My mom and her sister came to Poky last Saturday and stopped by to say hello. We went to Sizzler for dinner. A few of Tydon's new favorites are Grapes, Pineapple, Watermelon and the newest ICE CREAM!!! I made a cone thinking we would share it, but that didn't last long. He ended up taking it from me and LOVING every bite! He was mad when it started to leak out the bottom and we had to take it away. He is becoming so independent!
Play Date
Our ward has play dates every once in a while and we had one recently at a neighbors house. Tydon loves leaving the house and looks forward to seeing his friends. This play date was a lot of fun because we had a small brunch and everyone brought fun craft ideas. We will be moving out of our ward in July and I'm not looking forward to leaving all of our friends.
